Walnut Floor Maintenance Re-Oil
A dull walnut living room floor revived with a maintenance re-oil.
About this project
The engineered walnut floor was only a few years old, but the oiled finish had become dry and dull in the busiest areas. A full sand was not needed.
We deep cleaned the floor with a specialist intensive cleaner and lightly buffed it to open the surface. A coloured maintenance oil was then worked in with a buffing machine to restore the rich tone of the walnut.
The family were back on the floor that evening. We also recommended a simple cleaning routine and a re-oil every year or two.
